Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Rishta Saaz ("we", "us") for the use of the Rishta Saaz app, website and bureau tools (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Rishta Saaz is
Rishta Saaz helps people who are serious about marriage, their families and marriage bureaus find and contact suitable rishtay. It is not a casual dating service. We do not arrange marriages ourselves, and we cannot promise that you will find a match.
2. Who can use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to marry where you live.
- You must be looking for marriage, and you must not already be in a marriage that would make a new one unlawful for you.
- You must not have been banned from Rishta Saaz before.
- You may have only one personal account.
3. Your account and profile
- Everything you put in your profile must be true and about the person the profile is for. Do not use someone else's photos or details.
- A parent, sibling, relative or bureau may create a profile for someone else, but only with that person's permission. The profile goes live only after the person confirms it from their own phone.
- Keep your login and one-time codes (OTP) private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Verification (phone, selfie and CNIC) shows that a person is real. It is not a background check, and we do not guarantee anything about a member's character, intentions or circumstances.
4. Rules of conduct
To keep Rishta Saaz safe and respectful, you must not:
- harass, threaten, insult or pressure anyone, or send sexual or offensive messages or images;
- ask anyone for money, gifts, bank or wallet details, or offer them for any reason;
- share phone numbers, social media accounts, messaging app IDs, emails or links in your profile, photos or status, or try to get around the filters that stop this;
- create fake, duplicate or misleading profiles, or pretend to be someone else;
- share, screenshot or publish other members' photos or information outside the Service (photos carry a hidden watermark linked to the viewer);
- use the Service for any business purpose, advertising or recruitment without our written permission (bureaus use their own business accounts);
- post anything illegal, including any content that sexualises or endangers children – see our Child Safety Standards;
- scrape, copy, hack or overload the Service, or use bots or automation.
5. Safety, moderation and bans
- You can block or report any member. Our trust and safety team reviews reports.
- Chats are encrypted but not end-to-end encrypted. Authorised moderators may read chats and profiles to investigate reports and prevent misuse, and every such access is logged.
- We may remove content, limit an account, suspend it or ban it permanently if we believe these terms have been broken, or to protect members.
- When an account is banned, we keep identifiers such as the CNIC, phone number and device to stop the person from signing up again. Banned users may appeal by emailing us; only an administrator can approve a return.
- Never send money to someone you met online. If anyone asks, report them.
6. Paid plans
- Some features need a paid plan (Plus, Premium or Custom). Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you pay.
- In the mobile apps, payments are made through Google Play or the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store account, and refunds follow that store's refund policy.
- Safety features (block, report, privacy controls, app lock and account deletion) are free for everyone and are never part of a paid plan.
- We may change features or prices. A price change will not affect a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies to you.
7. Marriage bureaus
- Bureaus must register a business account, pass verification and follow these terms and any bureau agreement we make with them.
- A bureau may publish or share a client's profile only with that client's recorded consent, and must remove it when the client withdraws consent.
- Bureaus are responsible for their own services, fees and agreements with their clients. Rishta Saaz is not a party to those agreements.
8. Your content
You own the photos and text you upload. You give us permission to store, display and process them to run the Service – for example, to show your profile to other members according to your privacy settings and to check content for safety. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep information as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time – see how to delete your account. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription, so please cancel that separately.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it safe and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will be error-free or that every member is honest. You are responsible for your own decisions and meetings – meet in public, involve your family and tell someone where you are going. To the extent the law allows, Rishta Saaz is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the actions of other members or bureaus.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Members in other countries also keep any rights their local consumer laws give them.
